Alan Shaver is Co-Chair of the Portland, Maine chapter of SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business.  The Portland chapter describes itself as “Skilled Counselors Offering Real Experience” and is comprised of approximately 40 active volunteers spanning a broad array of business and professional skills.

Alan also leads the chapter’s Writing a Business Plan workshop providing important guidance and direction for those needing to write or improve their business plan, particularly to meet the requirements of commercial lenders.
