Alan Shaver is a nominee for election as a Trustee of the Episcopal Church Pension Fund.  Currently, Secretary of Convention for the Diocese of Maine, where he also serves as a licensed lay reader and chalice bearer at Grace Church, Bath, Maine.

Alan’s wife, the Reverend Ellen Shaver, retired as Canon for Deployment of the Diocese of New York, where she also served in several churches, and now conducts an active practice as a certified spiritual director.  She was a member of the team that planned the pilot program CREDO.

Alan and Ellen have two children and three grandchildren.
